On 28 June 2006, UAB "Putokšnis" signed the EU structural funds support contract with the Ministry of Economy and State Company Lithuanian Business Support Agency.

Under this contract, support was granted for the Company project "Modernization of current PET packaging production technologies, introduction of new technologies and development of new product groups”. Objective of the project is to increase competitiveness of the Company, when introducing new production technology and developing new product groups for markets in the Baltic States. Upon completion of the project, the Company will have introduced and launched up-to-date PET bottle production technology and some part of the current production technology will be modernized. This project is dedicated not only for launching of the new technology, but also for the development of new product groups.
